Why we built Bee Spark, and why it matters.
Across Africa, millions of children face significant barriers to quality education — under-resourced schools, a shortage of qualified teachers, outdated textbooks, and limited access to the internet.
For many families, the cost of private tutoring or supplementary learning materials is simply out of reach. As a result, talented children are held back not by their ability, but by circumstance.
Bee Spark pairs every student with Fab, an AI learning companion available around the clock. Fab teaches using the Socratic method — asking questions, guiding discovery, and adapting to each child's pace and curriculum.
The platform is entirely free for students, sustained by the generosity of donors and supporters who believe that every child deserves a world-class education, regardless of where they were born.
Professionally written lessons aligned to WAEC, CAPS, ZimSEC, CBC, UACE, and NECTA — covering every core subject from primary through secondary school.
The infrastructure that powers Fab — our AI tutor — including server costs, model access, and voice transcription so every child can speak their questions aloud.
Downloadable lessons and offline mode development, ensuring children in areas with limited connectivity can still learn without interruption.
